Just had my very first hearing test so wasn't sure what to expect. From the point of booking my appointment last week to attending today, the staff were lovely and friendly and the environment warm and welcoming. Each step of the process was explained as we went along and there was absolutely nothing 'sales-y' about the experience whatsoever. Given that it's nigh on impossible to get a referral from the NHS currently and that other companies who do carry out hearing tests (but are primarily known for eyesight tests) charge for this service, it's an absolute no-brainer to choose Hidden Hearing for a free hearing test.

Visited today with my father who came in for a standard free examination, and being his first time he has had a test, he was slightly nervous and a little bit excited if he's honest.

We were greeted by two staff, in a comfortable and warm reception. We were offered a cup of tea (and biscuits), and without any waiting were taken in on time for our appointment.

The audiologist was a chatty and welcoming host. My father was given a thorough test, using modern and traditional tests to identify his issues. At each stage, we had an explanation of the purpose of the test, which we really appreciated. Consent for any interaction was sought which really put my father at ease. The test ran for an hour, which included interaction from myself as a familiar sounding voice, so I really recommend bringing someone with you if you're planning to attend.

As a carer, it was great to see someone taking their time and being attentive to my father, even laughing at his jokes, (they were funny).

Highly recommend visiting this clean and welcoming facility.

Pop into Hidden Hearing Hull on the off chance. My Daughter has had a bad cold & has lost her hearing after plane flight & was a bit worried. Team there checked her ears & told her there was nothing wrong with her ears. After reasuring her she felt alot better. They do wax removel & all hearing problems. Highly recommend them,. Will defiantly use them again. Lovely caring staff.
