The lady at reception greeted us (my husband was with me) as soon as we arrived and was very professional and friendly. My appointment was on time, the Audiologist was happy to explain the various tests to my husband
(I usually go on my own) and I felt this gave him a better understanding to the extent of my deafness. I decided to get a new more up to date pair of hearing aids and was shown the range available, I was given suggestions on which might suit my needs most but I didn’t feel any pressure to go for the most expensive, which was nice.

Grace is very personable and professional. I always feel relaxed in her company and my hearing aids have made me feel a lot more confident. I felt isolated being unable to hear properly, often having to guess what people were saying to me, or asking them to repeat themselves. I was only 58 when my hearing started to deteriorate, and I thought I was too young for hearing aids, but when I recieved them, and walked home, it sounded like a new world out there!

It’s so important to have your hearing checked regularly, especially the older you get. Hearing loss can creep up on you. It can be so gradual that it’s not always easy to recognise or even accept. So if you’re worried about your hearing in any way, the best thing to do is to book a free hearing test.
