What should I do next?

If you think that you are suffering from some degree of hearing loss, don’t worry – we’re here to help. Below you will find information on the three possible steps you may wish to take next.

  • 1. Talk to a Hearing Aid Dispenser at a Hidden Hearing Centre

Our friendly, qualified staff are registered with the Health Professions Council and will offer you their best possible advice. This could include medical referral for an underlying condition (e.g. ear infection), or telling you that your hearing is not yet bad enough to warrant any further action.
Use our branch locator to find your nearest Hidden Hearing Centre, where you’ll be able to book a free hearing test and ask any questions you may want answered.
  • 2. Talk to your G.P

Your doctor will be able to talk to you about your hearing loss, and may either examine your hearing themselves or refer you to your local hospital’s audiology department.
  • 3. Do nothing...

It is your right to decide what is best for you and those around you, so of course you may choose not to act on your hearing loss at all. We would only ask you to consider that some hearing losses can be a symptom of something else (e.g. glue ear) and if it is causing concern to you or anyone around you then we would advice seeking professional help.

If you would like to book a consultation at your nearest Hidden Hearing branch, you can contact us via the website or call 0800 740 8706.
