As well as supporting Hearing Dogs for Deaf People throughout July & August (by donating £5 to the charity for every hearing test we conduct), we are also sponsoring Acorn’s development and training to become a qualified hearing dog.
Acorn is a Cocker Spaniel and lives with his socialiser Sue, close to the Hearing Dogs centre in Buckinghamshire and Acorn's progress is coming on in leaps and bounds (literally!).  Sue says ‘Acorn is a lovely puppy who keeps me on my toes – and he loves his training sessions’.

Acorn will continue his socializing until he is around 12 months old when he will then undergo his first formal character assessment.

We received an update with further pictures from Sue who says ‘Acorn needs to be very confident for his life as a Hearing Dog, so we have been holding fun family days as they are ideal for his development, and he seems to be into lots of things’.
From the picture im sure you will agree Acorn is looking in great shape and seems very content with his new life as a trainee hearing dog.
