At Hidden Hearing we are always looking for opportunities for the right people and if you are interested in a new role as a Hearing Aid Dispenser with Hidden Hearing then we would like to talk to you. In addition, we have welcomed new entrants and N.H.S. staff to the private sector.

I am interested in a career as a Hearing Aid Dispenser...

Looking for a new career in private healthcare? Then a role as a Hearing Aid Dispenser with Hidden Hearing will be of interest to you. We can provide the support required to enable you to apply for, and qualify as a Hearing Aid Dispenser with a foundation degree from a leading higher education institute. This professional qualification will then allow you to assess, test and prescribe hearing aids in a fascinating and rapidly evolving U.K. market.  As well as completing a 4 month in house training courses, you will attend University, on a block release basis, to complete a Foundation Degree leading to qualification and professional registration with the Health Professions Council.  You will also be working with our clients supervised by qualified Hearing Aid Dispensers.

To be offered the opportunity on the course you will need to be:

·         Self driven

·         Commercially minded

·         An excellent communicator

·         Have a passion for delivering quality service to the hard of hearing. 

·         A current full UK driving license 

·         Be able to demonstrate that you have a standard of education that exceeds or is equivalent to GCSE’s  which included passes at grade C or above in maths and a science subject. Alternatively, industry qualifications and training awards from a wide range of professions may meet University entry criteria as a mature student.

If you are currently employed (or even self employed) as a Hearing Aid Dispenser then there has never been a better time to look towards Hidden Hearing for a change in career. Plans over the next couple of years for growth are in place and you could play a part.  New retail opportunities and a predicted upturn in the U.K. market mean that we are currently looking for Hearing Aid Dispensers in a variety of geographical locations. We have a clearly defined route to qualification for those with the right life skills and a straightforward adaptation path to H.C.P.C. registration for anyone suitably qualified within the N.H.S.

I am in full time education OR qualified as an audiologist within the N.H.S....

If you are currently on a degree course in audiology or have entered the N.H.S. through a more traditional qualification route (e.g. B.A.A.T.) then we would like to talk to you about opportunities within Hidden Hearing in the near future.It is easier to attain the adaptation qualification than you may think and Hidden Hearing is always willing to support the right candidates.
